and Far East. Since the last two years, the company’s emphasis has been on secondary fibres, specifically waste paper.
Currently, Forest Resources’ annual numbers are 150,000 tonnes for secondary fibre and 40,000 tonnes for prime paper,
with exports from India.

With over 18 years of experience in the paper industry, Abbas started his career in the local Indian market in 2005 selling packaging board and container board. He moved into the international secondary fibre market in 2008.In the last two decades, he has built a robust network of European suppliers of secondary fibres to sell to buyers in the Indian subcontinent and Far East including China. After a 5-year stint working with european companies as their Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East market, Abbas set up Forest Resources in 2015. He has a widespread network in paper mills in the Far East, stock lot traders in Europe and is adept at getting tailormade finance for end customers with insurance coverage.

Fakhruddin started at Forest Resources in 2018 and since then has been responsible for selling various paper products including indenting for packaging boards, corrugated sheets, Kraft grades, printing and publishing and specialty papers procured from trusted and reliable vendors in the global market. Having started off as the sales executive focusing on the region, today, Fakhruddin’s main area of sales covers the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Kuwait.
